Hey, jazz fans! As you are aware, the current health crisis has brought live music performances to a halt in around the nation in recent months. As we consider all of the information available to us at this time, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the three concerts we had scheduled for the first half of this season at the Kauffman Center, from September through December.
We plan to reschedule all three of these concerts during the second half of the season, but at this time, the new dates are not yet finalized. We'll update you with those new dates and any other necessary information as soon as they are confirmed. We appreciate your patience as we undertake this complex process.
If you already had tickets to any of these performances, your seats will be automatically transferred to the new dates, and we will work closely with the Kauffman Center team to ensure that you receive the same seats as you held for the original dates, or comparable ones in the event that a change to another hall is necessary.
Once updated information is available, if you find that you are unable to attend, please call 816-994-7222 or email contact@kauffmancenter.org. Alternatively, we gratefully accept the donation of the value of unused tickets as a tax-deductible contribution. The Kansas City Jazz Orchestra is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
We sincerely appreciate your support as we continue to navigate this time of uncertainty. We wish you excellent health and joy in the small things as we patiently await the time when we can all gather and celebrate wonderful music again!
